Setup new GA4 property
Go to the admin section of Google Analytics (cog wheel in the lower left of the sidenav).
In the first column, select the account you want to use if you have multiple.
In the second column click "+ Create Property" (see screenshot: Create)
It should default to GA4 and ask you to name the new property (see screenshot: GA property setup), I suggest appending something like GA4 to the end just to make sure you can easily distinguish it from other properties
Click "Next" and then fill in the business info.
Click "Create".
Now the property is created, you'll see a screen to set up a data stream, select "Web" (see screenshot: Data stream)
For "Website URL" enter the member app URL with your company code (without the https://):
For example: "member.daysmartrecreation.com/#/online/arenasports/"
For "Stream name" you can enter anything you'd like to identify it, maybe "Arena Sports Member app"
Click "Create stream"
A new screen will appear showing the "Web stream details", you'll need to copy the "Measurement ID" (see screenshot: GA4 ID)
Your new GA4 property is created and ready to use
Replace UA ID with GA4 measurement ID in Dashreation
Log into your Dash Admin account.
Navigation to the "Integrations & Addons" page. Click the "Get Started" button under the "Google Analytics" tile.
Paste in the Measurement ID you copied earlier.
Now you'll receive data in your new GA4 property instead of the previous UA property
NOTE: There is not currently a good way to combine previous UA data with the new GA4 data. We don't support using both UA and GA4, but if you want to continue to get both, you can setup Google Tag Manager which allows multiple Google Analytics properties as well as other third-party trackers to be added at the same time.
