Company Settings, the date format allows you to create a default setting for the company as a whole.
Your personal employee settings will take priority over the Company Settings. If you go to your Employee's management page (profile page), you can update your date preference to MM/DD/YYYY or YYYY/MM/DD.
The Site Time format can be either set to a 12 hour format or 24 hour format (aka Military time).
